Your health holds a lot of value as it enables us to experience a quality of life that is fulfilling and meaningful. For those who prioritize health and wellness in order to prevent disease and dysfunction, you most likely have a community of healthcare professionals for support.
We all typically have a primary care physician and will seek out specialists depending on what needs to be addressed. However, there is another realm of health care professionals who are ready to serve which can be categorized as alternative medicine. This includes but not limited to chiropractors, acupuncturists, massage therapists, homeopathy, etc.
Most of these options are not covered under your insurance and require you to pay out of pocket. To me, you’re going to pay for your health one way or the other, either to treat or to prevent disease.
I would choose the latter as I would rather increase the quality of my life and remain independent until the day I transition into the spiritual realm.
A couple things to think about that could spark your motivational fire.
Proximity is power so surround yourself with others who prioritize exercise, nutrition, mindfulness and you will begin to adapt to healthier attitudes and behaviors.
Knowledge isn't power, it's potential power. Just because you read books and research about the best ways to live healthy and happy doesn’t necessarily mean you are going to be healthier and happier. Take immediate action and start applying the knowledge to support your wellbeing.
